For now, it seems, there are no freighting delays between the UK and mainland Europe. Ferry and rail services are running on schedule and courier companies are not reporting any transit hold-ups.

This week there have been a number of security incidents at the Channel Tunnel with trespassers trying to gain access to UK bound trains. There has also been a ferry strike that has increased the volume of traffic using the tunnel. Both these factors have affected logistic services between the UK and mainland Europe.
